This bike build used a 1974 TX650 as its starting point.

We wanted to keep the ball rolling along similar lines of one of our previous builds but with differences as well since we never do the same thing twice.

As with all of our bikes it has been completely dismantled and certain frame modifications were done then it got media blasted and powder coated for a long lasting durable finish.

The bike utilizes a vintage MX tank coupled with a tracker style seat pan and custom made seat pad.

Real comfy for those aggressive riding sessions.

The motor got a thorough re-do with a complete top end re-build. The cylinder walls were just fine so we stayed with the stock specs.

It breathes through a pair of Mikuni VM34 round slides and exhales through some custom made scrambler style header pipes & mufflers. It sounds MEAN.

Our simplified wiring concept keeps everything neat and tidy.

The Takasago wheels were media blasted and treated to a new powder coated finish and Shinko tire provided the aggressive tread rubber with a 510 out back and a 120 up front.

All the controls are new as are the instruments, head light & L.E.D. tail light.

Power is provided by an Anti-Gravity 8 cell Li-Ion battery.

New front brake master cylinder with stainless steel braided lines feed into the stock brake caliper with new brake pads installed and new brake shoes were installed for the rear.

A lot of new parts were used where needed but we kept some stock bits...but not many.

An easy ride in town or on the open road.

It's a thrill of a ride and we're hoping to find it a new home in short order.
